I have a suggestion, perhaps you should work out some sort of arrangement with Microsoft so that members of this website can link their account here with their Xbox Live account, just like Facebook, Twitter, Zune, Netflix, and Last.fm did. Of course, I highly recommend you make it so you can see which of your friends on this website also use Xbox Live (and have linked their Xbox Live account to their account here), and then you can add them as a friend on Xbox Live too (assuming they accept the friend request).
