It is great, even better than that video.
The fly-by sounds are pretty well pointless, just for show really. Whats really cool about it is the 100% elimination of sonar effect in game. No more hearing someone on your 6. Then the way it handles all the other sounds, at various distances-wonderful.

They seem pointless for dogfighting. I can see the appeal for airshows and demonstrations though.

Everything doesn't have to be relevant to the fight to be use full. ... at least ImO... The flyby was always one of those little things that I particularly liked..

Not a fan of the canned flyby sounds, and it especially doesn't work well if you tweaked the flyby parameters in the .conf. Just feels too gimmicky and unnecessary since the aircraft's sound is already upgraded and does the job much more nicely on it's own.

have to disagree.
Tigers UV3 sounds awesome in a co-op when you've landed and parked up, opened the canopy to be buzzed at 5m by one of your squadmates..... |

CWMV is saying the truth! The newest fly-by sound are great!
But they're pointless and in some case they penalize the player, while flying in dogfight or formation is impossible to hear the other engine sound... Could not hear anybody on your six.. Very good for videos but pointless for dogfighting |

Well lots of people like them so hey, they don't hurt my game play I'm glad others enjoy them.
