Default Enemy mod possible?

I've noticed a few changes from the enemies, from 2007 videos, to now. Formerly, the zombies attacked with guns, and the lizardmen and mantas had different textures. Has any of you planned to make a mod restoring the old concept, or can indicate me if there is any way of doing it?
Thank you very much!

1-I haven't seen those videos, so I don't know exactly what you're talking about.
2-I've my own mod atm so I won't look into details.
3-I haven't planned (yet) to tackle with removed ennemies.
4-For zombies with guns I suggest looking at the NecroSzkopZombie/NecroSzkopZombie_shot.CActor file and investigate if/why it's not used (that meshToHide = {"gun_SMLE", worries me though)
5-Anyone knows what "NecroSzkop" means? I know microscope, but no necroszkop.
6-Speaking about removed ennemies, I wonder what LC_Zombie_Nurse was supposed to be...
7-For textures, maybe look at o.Skin in their corresponding .CActor files.
