I second that!

I think tons of people have asked about this.

Anton should ask for the API used in GT5 coming out. Sony & PD should make it available to PS3 devs.

I hate using hatswitches and analogue sticks to look around.

No offence guys but this is a bit of a dumb request. Think about it for a moment. The team have a limited supply of time and money to spend on improving the game. Adding extra features such as the cam would be wasted resources, when other more pressing matters are at hand.

The MP coding needs more work, the bugs need patching out, cockpits need crafting, extra mission content for DLC has to be created etc etc.

And thats before you factor in that the vast majority of console owners do not have any peripherals other than a controller. So, its a nice idea but its pie in the sky thinking Im afraid.

True, although they make a good point about the API - if Sony made this available then it would be a bolt-on job and easy to implement. However, they haven't so we won't get it.

How would this work exactly anyway? Surely if you moved your head to look behind you you wouldn't be able to see the TV anymore?! Am I missing something?

The movements of your head can be exaggarated.
I.e. you rotate your head by 25 degrees and virtual pilot is looking back.
The curve can be not linear also.

P.S. Guys, we are going to support PS Eye/TrackIR in a future game, not this one.

How about project natal? Will I be able to fly the planes by standing in my living room making aeroplane shapes like a four year old? And making machine gun noises to fire.

Heh.. I got a good laugh out of that. I'd love to see it in a future update, and I'd definitely switch to my 360 for it.
