Default Um.... is this intentional? (Orcs on the March)

So I thought I'd check out the Wizard's Tower in Debir. Any units I buy in there costs no money, and when I come out, I lose those units. BUT, any scrolls I buy in there, cost no money either and when I come out, they stay with me and I can sell them.

Seems like a very easy way to make money in the low levels. Or is it a bug?

Ha! Sounds like you found an exploit of sorts. However do the scrolls reappear each time? If so, then this would be taking advantage of something that the devs would likely want fixed in a future version (exploit bug). If they don't reappear I wouldn't feel so bad about it - after all it could be considered another reward for making it to another level of the tower. Keep the spell or sell it...

It is sorta broken to buy stacks of spells in the first level and sell them off for a bunch of gold at level 1, I must say.

There are a lot of things in OOTM that make the early game much easier. Extra shops, better and more selections of troops, etc.
