Default Takeoff practice mission help

I am doing my first attempt at FMB and I need help with setting up a plane for takeoff. It is both to improve my flying skills, and learn FM.

I load the map, set my battle area over a run way, move to the end of it, and put a hurricane at the end ready for take off. I make all the way points, and the landing waypoint.

What I can't do is align the aircraft with the runway. I move down in to relief view where I hoped I coiuld rotate the aircraft in the horizontal on the map, but I can't figure out a way to do it.

From what I am reading, I get the impression that I may need to "set up" an air field, but that seems to be about AI planes.

Lastly, is there anything I need to do specifically for take off and landing way points?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The start direction of an Airplane depens on the Wind-direction (View-> Mission Parameters). The airplane take off against the wind.

I just check the easy options for "Parked", Scramble" or "Idle"
