Default About mega patch

Hi,

We are now at version 4.13.2 of IL2 1946.

I will certainly change my laptop at the end of this year and I thought it could be a great idea to create a mega patch from the normal game to the patched one. I think the first version is 4.07m, so I think that a Mega Patch from 4.07m to 4.13.2 could be great for newcomers too instead of trying to find how to patch the game correctly.

What's your thought about that?

Thank you

It is not that difficult to do you yourself.
Jusr open all the patches in order, on the same folder, then compact it again, and it is done. It will overwrite many time the main exec files, but mostly it will add things.

I will try, but not sure how to make the .exe or .msi for the patch installation.

Thank you

Don´t need to.
You just create a zip or rar wiht the whole folder, and whenever needed, you uncompress it over your actual il2 folder, overwriting everything.

IL2 it is not a registry compromised software. Wise move. So just copying the folder with it´s contents allow the software to run.

Found a way to create .exe with 7zip. I know that DT use Winrar, but I don't have this software. Whatever, I tried with the default IExpress Wizard, but unable to take folders lol. Hope my MegaPatch to 4.13.2 will work.

Yeah I could have stick to .zip, but I want something more "official"

UPDATE : My megapatch is 2.8 Gb from 4.08m to 4.13.2m. Is it too big or it's normal for a .exe?

It is normal. It is a good measure of how big is TD's work here.
