Default Level 3 - Rescue/Kill Prisoner

I have trying for so long now to somehow rescue the captain, instead of escorting him to the interrogation room and then killing him.
Is it even possible to rescue him? Has anyone been able to do it?
It's just that rescuing the prisoner with no kills could result in a better rating perhaps?

i don`t know about how it`ll affect your rating (it most likely won`t do it any good) but i "escorted"the captain to the interrogation chamber, made sure the dude that was in there was already disposed of, knocked the captain out for easy travelling, killed everyone in the way between that chamber and the exit and simply carried him out.

You need to dispose of any patrols in the hallways. Nobody in the cellar prison needs to be killed and nobody in the halls (other than the final route to the stairs) needs to be killed.
But yes...everyone from the last room where you pick him up (after the release from the cell) to the stairs (including the staiway) needs to be taken out. You'll have to take out some of the lone guards down the perpendicular hallways as well.

I don't think you can escort him out otherwise, but who knows. Might be a trick I've overlooked.

why do you bother, its not like its hitman where you have to maintain a level of anonimity. This is war. I kill anyone who gets in my way, including the soviet prisoner if i must. I figure, if i let this guy live he'll only go back to the eastern front and start killing my soviet buddies.

I shot the guy in the interrogation room before the prisioner came in. Then I hide his body next to the door, so that no one could see him once the door opens and the prisioner gets in.
Then, the prisioner enters the room and I close the door. Now its me and him in the room.
Then, I ask him to follow me but don´t leave the room yet. Now I watch the patrollers in the corridor/hallway, one guard is marked green and the other right. So, once these two turn right, I open the door and run like theres no tomorrow and just pass by the two guards that came with the prisioner (who is just running behind me). I opened the door and went straight forward, where the last door was (the one with the stairs).
By now I haven´t shot anyone yet but now I draw the pistol and kill the two guards in the stairs, just where you need to get to pass the mission.
There you go!

Yeah... I just finished that mission. It was a doozy. Here's what I did: I escorted the prisoner to the interrogation room. I chloroformed the officer. I waited for the hallways to clear out of guards. The hallways did not. I grew impatient. I shot the prisoner's face off. I calmly strolled out of the castle with a big grin.
