co-op?

i love these Serious Sam/painkiller kind of games and since the first painkiller i'v been nagging on the forums about co-op.
nothing beats co-op Serious Sam on lan still no one implements it.
I know i'v heard all before, "it wasn't in the original plans, we have a deadline to keep", "maybe in a patch" and so on... but it never happens and its a shame since this game would be perfect for co-op.
its not like u have said there wont be any co-op, I'm just guessing :p
so... will there be co-op pretty please? =)
