Chill dudes, Korn is romanian... as I am... and as far as I know him, he gives very little darn about politics... as a matter of fact, I am convinced that this was his "darn" on politics for this whole year. Isn't it Korn?

I think he made that comment just to say something about this "press"/"advertising" association between Oleg, president of 1C and president of Russia.

If he would had said just:

"Congrats for the meeting with your president"... it would seem very short so he added a sort of a joke. Btw... do you know how Basescu name could be translated? Fartson? McFart? etc (Basescu is our president's name... for those who don't know)

Anyway... peace.

The tank is OK Oleg... when do we see the London?

I should certainly hope not! If so, then "Herr Merkel" needs to come clean!

I would really like to see an in-game video how these detailed models look in game from a high altitude viewpoint.
Will they scale smoothly or 'pop' into existence when the game engine determines they are visible?
Will dust trails be more realistically rendered from moving vehicles, especially when they are in convoy?
Are you ready to show us damage modelling on these ground vehicles? With the detailed models you've shown so far it will be interesting how detailed and variable the damage modelling can be without effecting the frame rate too much.

It all looks good so far, but still at the WIP stage.

BTW- Bearcat is one of the guys whose posts i look forward to reading- the guy knows his stuff and and always gives a well-considered and mature response to others.

A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.
