For those with the game wondering about bug fixes and a patch, dont worry. As a long time Codemasters customer I know from past experience that Codies will indeed patch the game to remove critical flaws.

I know a few people were bitching about GRID patches, as the final one is still not released yet. However, Codies have had a LOT of work on there plate up to this point, what with OF;DR, DiRT2, and the new Formula One game they are making. Now that the two big hitters are out, the dev team can get down to patching them a lot quicker than some might expect.

Dear Codemasters,

How about finishing your games and then publishing them rather than vice versa?

Thanking you

The game is finished, you just dont get that at this point. Whenever any software is released there are ALWAYS bugs. What seperates the good dev teams from the bad, is fast quality patching to remove those bugs.

And just as an FYI for those with OF;DR, Codemasters are releasing a patch for DiRT2 tomorrow. Thats two weeks after release for the first patch. So you shouldn't have to wait long for a OF;DR patch by those standards.

Ha ha yeah there are bugs and there are bugs though. The ones in Dragon Rising are so obvious that they must surely have been known about prior to release but the game was shoved out anyway to meet a release date.

Lol, you should stop by that forum for the game some time, there are some over the top angry people in there!

I'm having a lot of fun with the game. Great change of pace from the usual fps games. I've seen perhaps one or two minor bugs (visual usually) but nothing I haven't seen in other games. Most of the really angry folks are torqued about the lack of free roam and trouble getting in online games (something we can relate to I guess ).

Difference between there and here is most of them come across as angry 12 year olds that keep hammering on the same few things over and over and over again despite the devs saying there's a patch on the way. As if screaming and carrying on will somehow speed that up...

well i tested the fall back order and my team laid down smoke then backed off to the position i told them so i guess you must have done something wrong or maybe they have used all there smoke ??

also on the last mission i landed the blackhawk at the purple smoke ok apart from losing the rotors (too close to trees lol) so i guess its hit and miss if you flip it or not ??

and yeah the flashpoint forums are way over the top i honestly dont know why they are soo agressive at the end of the day its a game and all games have bugs and glitches and it will get patched so why the stress

allso i trust codies to fix all the bugs and im sure they will make this into the benchmark tatical shooter
for instance i dug out my original copy of flashpoint coldwar crisis for old times sake but id lost the sticker with the cd key on i emailed them gave them the serial number on disc and 2 days later i had an email back with a new cd key now that is customer support
