I've put DAYS into beta-testing CoD for the developers. They haven't paid me...no, indeed, I PAID THEM. So the least I expect, after a long weekend, is some bloody word on what's being done to get the MP working again, not to mention the 101 other major issues that still haven't been fixed. Not some bollocks about an add-on/expansion months down the road.

Or am I being unreasonable? Please sir, when might I expect to be able to actually play the effing game I bought instead of endlessly TESTING IT?
Since when do you get paid to do beta testing

Hmmm I've seen this before. I am pretty sure this is Russian.

Happy V-E Day!

If I pay you for your game will you go away? You have 24 hours then its off the table.

Happy V-E day.

I too would like a med/balkans add-on (the existing planeset of CoD would already be good for that, add some 1942 aircraft that will double for the channel front '42 time period and you've got both Africa/Med and NW Europe covered up until 43) but on the other hand i also want to experience the eastern front campaigns with the capabilities of the new engine.

It will be a blast with the new damage modeling and CEM, flying those temperamental early war VVS planes or strafing armored columns in a sturmovik across the steppes.

And like others said, it makes sense to keep your artists busy with the next add-on while the coders focus on the bugs in the current version, it only saves time in the long run.

LOL. Time to put up or shut up, as we say in the US.

So will you grow up now?
Are you for real ??
comment sport! try be constructif and then the big V and all that... is it really the proper forum to talk about it especially having made a life time making simm ( and money) about it...
and then i was not the one who decided to talk first about a new add on right after my big speech about the big V....

It would obviously be unbelievably dumb for us to abandon CoD half-finished and to expect any kind of a success with a sequel (which is what the screenshots are from). Our future success depends on making customers like you happy.
To be honest Luthier i am somewhat shocked by this post, effectively what your saying here is that you guys knew all along that the game you were putting out was not fit for purpose, all those vids that you showed us pre release were completely misleading. Time and time again I asked you and Oleg to show us real in game footage but the subject was avoided at all costs, I asked many time about SLI and how well the game would run on top end rigs, each question was either ignored or thrown back in my face, a few bans were also implemented to keep me silenced. Then we had the leaked Youseff video that we can all see was a marketing ploy since noone got the game to run that well out of the box.
If you want to make us happy why dont you start with a little truth, I am more than happy to put all your misleading hype pre release behind in the past, I am more than happy to help iron out bugs with error reporting, so how about a little bit back from you guys, i.e. tell us what really happened, you guys need to level with your fan base here, you can only gain respect from that and im sure it will help us all feel a little less conned.

last whine from me, im going to be more positive in future but this post from luthier just made me a little angry. Im over it now, lets move on

Peace.

Happy V-E Day from Norway

The future looks fantastic for il2COD if it goes the same way as the first il2, Russian, Europa, pacific etc etc
