Tell me why people prefer server #3 with externals and small islands map rather than #1 with 'fullreal' settings and the channel map?
I am slowly working on a new mission and wonder if I should concentrate on small islands maps instead of France map. |

I think the people prefer small islands maps because they can see more enemies, and It's more simple

Thanks for comments. I know of this game bug but the plane looks so cool I do not what to get rid of it. On the other hand it would be absolutely helpless vs. 109 or 110 if it could not create a slideshow sometimes

Hi,
I tried your server the other day and found it nice. IMHO at full realism the France map is too short with most airfield only 1 min of each other. I'll try to visit your server more often as it look promising. ~S and Good luck in the future ! PS: I am sure we will soon see some factual documents proving the lineage of the B52 in the Walrus.. Please do keep working on the France map though, there's alot less vulching and perching when people have to do a little navigation and fly for more than 1 minute to the enemies base. The large map has alot more feel to it aswell. If I could request one thing though it would be adding some targets for the jabo guys on Repka 1, right now there are only ships (which are bugged :/) and flak around the bases to bomb/strafe(either that or i fail to spot the other targets). Would be fun if there were some truck convoys, artillery/tank lines to attack and if possible some static aircraft to add some life to some airbases. I am pretty certain that the human eye cannot distinguish the difference of anything above 30fps or thereabout?
Using a three year old laptop, listed below, and settings at 1680x1050/forest off/building amount low/land shading low/grass off/shadows off/roads on/everything else medium. In my nvidia console I have 2xAA 4xAF force vsync set to override application. I get average 33-36fps with high of 60(73 with vsync off) and low of 5 on black death. |

You can take an existing online mission that came with the game and modify it in fmb according to your needs, move "birthplaces" closer for instance. It is easy and it's great when you learn something new
