In Arcade its really easy. But when you try to take off in Sim, the wings drag.

The pics in realistic. Arcade allows you do manage almost anything but you stated sim cta with 163s! Only person I know to have managed the 163 at templehoff was Dave and only because it span out but stayed intact.

Its easy, you just come in from 2km away at 10% power, altitude 20m. I've already made landings at Hawkinge, Red October(airfield), Tempelhoff, and several other places.

Don't forget to include some of your King Tiger ramming IL10 pilot Soviet hero uncle and you firing grenade launchers just outside of town.

Gilly, was that 163 stopped? if you had it balanced like that at a complete stop...my hats off to you, brother. are you putting the skid ( gear down) or leaving it up? the only way i can get a 163 back off the ground without groundlooping til i crash is to do a touch and go...come almost to a complete stop then kick it in the @$$ and take off. seems no matter what i do when i get to a stop it leans over on one wing.

Its leaning over to the side. The only way to get it to balance is to have good speed.

(but made the challenge a bit harder since, your proposal was done in minutes) Heres the thing. Race starts from the pier at Dover, up to Hawkins, head East to Manston and back to the pier. Find the fastest route with a PO2, and wheels on the ground always. My lap time was 13 hours, 57 min and 43 sec. Here I am going at it ![]() |
