Also thanks for releasing patch and telling us something about the road ahead! But you really have us at the edge of our seats about this new feature! I'd like a sneak peek

either way, off to testing patch now! I hope multiplayer memleak/launcher.exe crash is fixed cause it was ruining my day. (I had fluid gameplay initially after client connect then degrading performance starting at 60fps going down to 6 fps at worst then launcher.exe crash.)

Good luck guys! Already "feel" like I'm there when I see those beautiful smoke tracers from the MGFF M roaring towards the spits, tearing them up!

I am highly pleased with two things:

- Spit1a has now CSP
- FM will be worked on. This is currently my top priority after some performance issues.

No mate, more fed up than anything else, and worried that this patch might be worse than the last one...

After one test mission:
+sounds
+gfx performance seems good, sometimes very good. But haven't flown over cities yet

old bug:
the 2 big rectangles over the map bug which I've mentioned in bug threads of 2 previous patches is still there.

new bug:
while chasing a Spitfire with Bf109-4, I accidentally rammed it. My plane exploded immediately, but the Spitfire continued flying as if nothing had happened. There is a piece of tail missing, but I'm not sure if that was caused by the crash or my firing earlier. Anyway, the plane kept flying even though I think its tail would have been pretty much destroyed by my propellor and the explosion.

Here's how the plane looked:

Our main priorities now are:

1. Physics and FM. This means plane behavior in the air, brand new landing gear model on the ground, collision modeling including tree collision (if performance allows), and improved vehicle physics.
2. AI. Currently working on everyone’s favorite controls flutter and AI wingman behavior. Also working on improving radio comms, getting your crew to be more verbose on the intercom, and lots of other changes. Coupled with #1, this should give us quite a dramatic change in how air combat looks and feels.
3. Performance. We are in final stages of testing a thorough overhaul of the game’s graphic engine. It won’t look any different but it will be much more streamlined. It’s too early to say what the FPS increase will be in the final version, but it shouldn’t be less than 50%.
4. Sound. The sound in the v15950 is considered a beta. We will continue to improve existing sound, and to add new ones to the aircraft and to the world around them.
5. SDK. As promised earlier, still planning to release a map-making SDK in the near future. More details will be released when we are ready for them.
In short;

Developing a sim.........
