A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically.Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.

Argh. That clock www.freewebs.com/heinkill now seems to be set to Sept 2010, which I think was the date Oleg mentioned in his Simhq article would be the date by which 'the world would be full of people playing SoW' or something like that. Looks it just reflects whatever the latest best guess is.

Theres no way it will be released this year, think about it, the game is not yet at Beta level, its going to take conservatively 6-8 months to beta test collect data and fix bugs/issues. This will normally happen at the same time has you start your marketing strategy. We have not even seen an in game screenshot yet, the game is a long way off, sad but most certainly true IMHO.
