I'm in the sharper, better camp too. Read some of the posts from earlier today...many negative, was expecting the worse...must say I was impressed. Things look good, sharp, I like the 109 cockpit, landscape, water, etc. Havent had time to really get into it but so far very good!

I am definitely in favour of the new cockpit rendering. It just looks more realistic to me, everything just pops. The landscape in general seems to be improved.

From a quick test on the "Black Death" track (at least until it crashes when the bombs go off), I find there is too much contrast. I'm currently watching "Band of Brothers" again, and the high contrast in the game reminds me of the colour effects on that and similar movies like Saving Private Ryan.

Contrast of the inside cockpit is good actually very much like the real thing.. Up there yes you'll get some good contrast.

I think the landscape is looking good and the cockpits at midday look terrible.
I liked the cockpits before the first beta patch. There was nothing wrong with them in the first place!
I see where they are going though and I hope this is will improve.

I like the VNE FM stuff though

From the screenies (yet to install the patchII), the second Beta landscaping looks much much better... both colour and light.

Even duct tape can't fix stupid... but it can muffle the sound.

S!

Well there is no soft or warm color but sharpness and contrast when I work on planes So I prefer from the pics the latest ones. I do not see "fuzzy" gauses IRL. And compare to A-10C...
