Yes there was a thread on this.. the only thing common to all was the game itself.

Strangely Low has been working for me but could be my Video Card as some guys think its video memory related and I've got 1.28Gb (RAM is 6Gb). I'm also only running 1680x1050. I think the trees themselves are ugly. (They're also pointless as there's no crash detection but I don't want to push the thread Off Topic.) What I think is On Topic is to vote for the entire trees concept to be changed in Insubers 'Priority Bugs....' thread: http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=23405 I'm trying not to spam all threads with this but I think it fits here.

Went online to actually fly for the first time in months (i only had short test runs a couple of patches ago) along with a buddy.
I joined Syndicate, turned off voice, music and set trees to very low (i had them on low anyway). I can confirm that after 3 sorties of about 1 hour each (more than three hours of flying) i didn't get the sound bug at all, despite running things like skype in the background which further stressed my meager 3GB of RAM to the limit. Sounds were there for the duration of my multiplayer sessions. |
