Slight drop in FPS for me, with the payoff of having slightly less stutters.

Biggest problem with the patch is I get a Black Screen when starting up and need to Alt-tab out of the game and hit the launcher icon in the task bar to get back in properly.

I also get the game jumping back to Desktop for a few seconds, just before a mission starts and every time I hit Esc to use a menu in-flight.

Oh, and the bug that prevents full-screen at less than desktop resolution is back.

Great multiplayer for me, very smooth over land or sea also in offline I can now fly over London with about an extra 5 - 10 fps than pre beta patch, very good patch for me, i have been able to move some settings to medium and turn grass on with little to no frame loss, forests still low and shadows and roads off.

Just a thought, before I tested I went into the conf.ini and set ff=0 as I see it is now implemented but I dont use it, not sure if it made a difference but it does in some games, also mirrors after the beta patch when turned off = +10 fps for me.

The bizarre fullscreen thing is driving me crazy. Would someone explain why we need it? I used to like being able to access other windows easily and now it crashes more often than not.

Because its needed for vsync and anti-aliasing to work properly. Even then its all a bit buggy at the moment.
