S!

Simming is expensive and I have shelled out a lot only because of IL-2 and now for CoD. FPS games are not my branch, they are just so repetitive and full of ADHD bunnies

(us vs steam)

72% vs 45% W7: +27%
9% vs 24% Vista: -13%

-> DX11 capable systems: 81% vs 69%

47% vs 15% DX11 GPU: +32%

Given the fact some many people here have a DX11 OS, I think it's realistic to guess about 90% of the DX11 cards are also in a DX11 OS, which would result in
-> 42% DX11 users.
That is way over average.
Yep they are interesting figures, would just care to say that in 2 days we will have the January survey numbers which might reflect christmas sales. Also steam like said has a "backlog" of older systems from accounts that are not used anymore so I would say this potentially slants the figures towards the lower end. Not surprising though, the market has been pretty stagnant since XP, people are making up for lost time

Win7 Home Premium 64-bit on stationary.
WinXP Home Edition on netbook (Win7 still can't beat the batterylife of XP).

Lies, damned lies, and statistics...

Don't think it proves anything much. The die-hards here are representative only of themselves. If the devs are making decisions on features for the game they'll consider the full range of potential buyers, a lot of whom will be casual Steam-type folks.

Definitely doesn't prove Heli right.

100% agree on this one, that poll is extremely skewed considering the ratio of elitist on this forum. Do it on IGN or some other gaming site instead.

Well you have to consider that the poll was made for us not other gamers.It is representative of the people who most likely will play the game.
