Um, that would only be on their "mods" version of the server which is 4.09.

The 4.10 server is stock, hence no mods.

This pic doesn't show it, but there's about a 2 foot wing overlap.

I just want to show you what we in SvAF like to do in the WoP servers. Our purpose is to train all fighter pilots how to attack a bomber formation, thats all

I just quote my fellow flyer and producer F19_Klunk on our last mission on the Warbirds of Prey server:

"MISSION FOR TODAY:
B25 day raid over Sicily (Husky mission on Spits vs 109 mod)

TARGET:
Industrial Area West of Syracuse
Eight RAF B-25 Mitchell medium bombers launched from Tunisia

B17s heading for Dieppe:

Enjoy

Best Regards
Simon

There used to be more early war missions, but they often caused most pilots to leave.
So I guess the admins slowly reduced them as once a server has low numbers it takes a good while to pick up again, if this happens a few times a day the server ends up mostly empty and that can't be the aim.

I myself love the pace of the early maps aswell and have especially fond memories of flying Ki-43's and Ki-27's or on other maps the 4gun wildcat and A6m2 on ZvW years ago.
Hope to fly again soon ,and know where it will be...the place that got me hooked on IL-2 thanks to their helpful pilots, especially this...some spent hours and hours letting my fly as a wingman and gladly shared all the tips and tricks they knew till i could actually fly halfway decent , good maps and challenging settings.

S! WOP and may your community live on well past the demise of IL2 and shine years into SOW:BOB's future.
