Could one of you English fellows please explain what the phrase "taking the piss" actually means? I've heard it used in several different contexts here and in books and I'm confused. Just curious is all.

I LOVE THIS GAME! I will buy the DLC. I really don’t want anything in it but I will buy it just to support the game. I am fairly fortunate that I still have a few extra dollars in my pocket even with the recession and all…actually I am lucky to have kept my job, they layed off most of the people in my department…I just missed the bullet. So I am a bit luckier then most…I would not expect anyone who is having a hard time during this recession to buy a DLC they did not want, but for the rest of us, if you really like this game and want it to succeed just go ahead and buy the DLC…in fact...Anton, can I buy two?...

Since you are amoung the fortunate ones, and want to buy it simply in support, then buy one or two codes of it and give them out to someone that is less fortunate. It helps your fellow gamers that love the game, but are less fortunate, AND supports the cause.. Just a suggestion. And no, I am not aiming for a free code, because I am far from wealthy BUT the good Lord has been good to me and helping me keep my head above water in this bad economy. Anyway.. I love the game so much myself, I actually bought 3 copies of it, one for myself, and two for a couple friends that didn't have the funds and wanted it bad too. just a suggestion..

You think, we had somehow force publisher not to release already made DLC? Perhaps blackmail him that we all will commit suicide?

Guys, you vote for the game with money.
Game is bad - do not buy it. Nobody buys - no sequel than, and noone is making 'those crappy games' again.
DLC is 'disgrace' - don't buy it. Nobody buys - no new DLC will appear, and nobody will pretend to get your money before, the same time, or after anything (title update or whatever).
your marketing is unique i mean no1 in this earth has said dont buy my product if u dont like it most people try to sweet talk u

That is why he is a developer, not in marketing.. lol.. Actually, that is why I never got into marketing, because I am also pretty frank about that sort of thing.. too honest to be in marketing, lol..

I'm just curious, What games and DLC are you talking about here? Would you mind naming a few?

I didn't find out about BoP soon enough to take advantage of any preorder bonus, is what's in the DLC the exact same thing as the preorder goodies?

We're talking the cost of two lattes, or a steak, or about a gallon of gas, none of which will last you an hour and a half, so I figure its a good deal

I too was amazed (stateside at least) how cheap the game was for an 'A' rank new release. And as others have said, support the game if you want to see more like it. It may not be everything you want now (same with the DLC) but if it bombs out, there won't be anymore made, so you'll never get what you're wanting.

And lol @ Anton, I'd never make it in marketing either Another "calls 'em as I see's em" person here!
