Not really new purchases, but i tried to take pics of a couple to see how they would turn out and how my photography skill were. Not the best i don't think. It'll take me a while to master a camera Tried to make the plane blend in with the grass and backdrop. Give me a heads up of what you think please

On the note of collections, I spotted something in my closet today that I forgot I had. It's a reprint of aircraft spotter playing cards from the 1940s. It has side, tail and bottom silhouettes of various Allied and Axis aircraft on regular playing cards.

Nice, but I think you need a new carrier diarama for it, doesn't look right in the middle of the countryside lol. Have you made a list of what you have?

Yeah a carrier diorama would be ideal, but i only really have a few carrier based die cast. They all get displayed (hopefully) in a glass cabinet anyway.

From memoryi have -

RAF -
Lancaster bomber
Halifax bomber
Griffon Spit x3
Hurricane x10
Typhoon
Tomahawk (p40)
Swordfish
Hellcat

US -
B17 (pacific)
Corsair x2
B25 Mitchell
Hellcat x2
P47 x3
Dauntless x2
P51 x3
P40 Warhawk
P38 Lightning

Luftwaffe -
HEIII
JU-88
ME 110
FW 190
BF 109

IJN -
Zero fighter

Thats from memory. So a couple could of slipped through the net. Also have a MkI Spitfire and a Mosquito but they are both encased in these buble type boxes. Bit annoying really.
