a game reviever sad:

any other console flight game, with the left thumbstick handling pitch and rolling, and the right one handling acceleration and yaw. You can zoom in and stabilise the camera with the Left Trigger, which helps enormously with the hyper-accurate aiming system, and keep track of your current objective via a helpfully pointy yellow arrow.

Over G doesn't work correctly with flight sticks. The throttle won't work and the rudder is reversed. You have to use shoulder buttons to work the throttle.

As I have posted before it also works really good on Raiden Aces.

I'm pretty sure that the question was about its use with flight games, which Raiden Aces isn't really. I can play Raiden Aces with my Rock Band drums also, but that hardly means it supports them.

Which begs the question, ...:
Will I be able to play Birds of Prey with my Guitar Hero Gibson Les Paul wireless guitar controller??

I saw Anton mention MS when talking about sticks in another post.......could there be a official MS stick on the way?

"We've worked directly with Saitek/Thrustmaster/MS to get all samples, and have done flightstick support on our own risk, to make sure the spirit of IL-2 will survive, and flighsim fans will be able to get pleasure from the game."

Ah I didn't realize that he meant just flight games. If you search around on the web there is actually a list some where that shows which games added in support for the stick. When I say supported I mean that the buttons and controls are on the stick the way they should be, I don't mean using some insane button on the stick to do something that makes it impossible to play.

You can tell a game has support if the buttons that work on a controller are different on the stick. Example : If you playing a game with a 360 controller and the right trigger is fire, then you plug in your ace edge and the A button is fire then that game has support for the stick put into it.

If you plug in your ace edge and the fire button is still on the right trigger then your just using the stick to try and play the game with a controller layout and there wasn't support added to the game for the stick.

Thats all I'm saying. You can tell when they made a seperate layout so you can use the stick and you can tell when you just get lucky and can use it.

I'd love to see this list. I'm a bit curious what other games have added support for it.

It'd seem a bit weird to me to play anything but a flight game with it though.
