This video is for sure a nice reminder about the great video skills that some people in the COD community have, but it's definitely NOT a reminder about how great this sim is. Produced nearly 1 year after the release the videos shows all the conspicuous technical problems IL2 CloD still suffers.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your efforts and sharing DUI !!

Honestly it was quite difficult to get realistic shots for that movie without having bugs in the scene. There is alot of post processing on those scenes in order to make it look better aswell.

I know and that is exactly what I mean. This video is just awesome, but unfortunately it is not the truth about this "great sim". Apart from the stutters IL2 Cliffs of Dover is far away from this and it still breaks my heart to see what should be possible.

Yes…great for generating pics and vids. But playing the thing, especially in SP is another story. CloD is like a beautiful concept car. Looks amazing as it turns on its platform but take it for a ride you quickly find that under the skin it’s a cobbled together mess. CloD may get there eventually but at this pace the dev team may go bust before it happens.

And another good video:

Obvioulsy CloD still has quite a bit of a path to travel, but it is getting there - slowly and surely.

Mungee,
Wish I could take credit however I only done a bit of the flying monkey work - the true moviemaker and idea guy was Marmusman who deserves the credit for this masterpiece!
