I've never been in a plane on an overcast day where I couldn't see the instrument panel because of shadows. It looked more like the video was taken at night with a full moon and no instrument lighting. The forests were nice though. Splitter |

There are mods/settings for IL-2 that do something similar actually (gamma tools anyone) by the way. And while it can improve some parts, it makes others worse. HDR can be very nice but it takes to long to adapt to new perspectives and it's usually flawed. However, the "white" thing is something that makes me wonder. I mean flying planes without any feedback, ultra precise controls etc. is one thing - but looking into the sun without getting blinded by it? That's really overdone indeed. If we get a good weather system we should at least also get blinded by sunlight. I don't know about you but I haven't met many people that are not getting blind(ed) when they look into the sun. And usually, when you looked at something bright, the surroundings WILL appear very dark. HDR is still a little overdone in BoP, true. But it's still a realistic approach that just needs to be refined and turned into something more simulation like I believe. ![]() |
