[QUOTE=Pluto;323238]...thanks for taking the effort to create a campaign for CloD
[/QUOTE

What is the Maximum for the numbers of planes in a west map campaign?

One last remark; the victory tally from one mission to the next does not work at all! Otherwise thanks for your effort continue this way and let us hope for the future.

Have a very nice game.

Mission five day 4 5am. Mission intercepts German planes at altitude 2000m above Sandown. Take off no problem but wingmen’s once again does not know the meaning of following the leader. Two minutes after takeoff they have gone with the wind nowhere to be seen. I climb to 15000 feet better to be safe than sorry, direction south of the Isle of Wight. Good for me I did because in place of bomber I found a bunch of 109 at 9000 feet due north. This time I had the upper hand, in the sun higher and more speed. My only problem one Spitfire against 8 109’s! A dive, one, two and three hit on so many different 109’s, damaged not destroyed, my speed was to great that my gunnery was to imprecise, rushed, hasty. But the fourth and last I hit lost is rudder also I did not see any parachute, when the plane crashed in the sea, so did I hit the pilot? The rest of the 109 did try to make me pay for their comrade, ten or fifteen minutes of dogfight first at 6000 feet and to end at 100 feet. Lucky for me they were not there to fight with me but to destroy a flight of four Blenheim’s that got through without a scratch maybe because of me? After more than one hour of flying I did land at the home base with less than 10 gallons of fuel. Landed at 6.15am. Once again no clouds. 3 BF109 damaged one destroyed but not confirmed.

Like me I hope you have a fun game.

The wingmen not following is a game bug. Use Autopilot when taking off until it's fixed.

I think that if you radio the tower and tell them you're ready for take-off the wingmen will follow suit and do the same.

The results of a mission are the normal result you find at the end of all single missions. But you can save you progress and continue the campaign later or maybe have more than one campaign at once.
Have fun I do!
I mean in another release of the campaign. Is there a way to implement it?

That's a good question. I think the real question is "what is the maximum number of airgroups"? I only use even numbers for airgroups so my guess is that the maximum is fifty. If there are an average of five aircraft per airgroup, that's a maximum of 250 aircraft.

I'll see if I can find a problem with victory logging. If you wouldn't mind could you keep an eye on the logs for me and post anything that you think looks relevant? Here's luthier's post explaining how to enable logging.

Just flew my first mission, east, escort mssion for 110s.
We escorted the 110s to their target, an airfiled, they bombed it, destroyed 4 Spits on the ground, I shot down 2 in the air, a bit awkward, came up behind them, started shooting at close range, no defensive moves from them, so they were toast pretty quick, but that is a game issue that's been mentioned numerous times I think.

However, the 110s did after their attack on the airfiled not stop circling around and flying over the enemy airfiled again and again. I finally gave up and returned to France. The home tower called one plane after another from my flight to land, starting with the #4 plane, after he landed they called the next one until it was my turn, the 110s were at that point still circling the enemy airfield.
Do you think the 110s getting stuck in a pattern is a game issue or a campaign issue?

In any case, great work, thanks a million for putting in a great effort and giving the community something that raises the value of the game immensly .
This is exactely what I was hoping for, choose your unit, airplane and area of operations. I know in time it will be possible to elaborate on the whole design more, like a permanent roster, allocation of replacements, stats tracking, though 1C needs to fix a lot of things with the game before that becomes even somewhat feasable (always hate to see your own planes "colliding with the landscape" instead of landing ).
Good thing is the next patch is coming, lets see how things are then.
