Hey Oleg,

thanks for all your answers, I have a question:

Will bailing out be in first person perspective (seeing the whole bailout sequence through the eyes of the pilot) instead of the camera moving away and showing the pilot bail out?

Questions for Oleg about bullets' behavior.
1. Will bullets flight paths be calculated more accurately than in Il2?
2. Will bullets be modeled for longer distances than Il2? (Hispano Mk1 is a good example)
3. Will bullets flight paths be modeled after the tracer burns out?
4. Will the Sow:BoB code allow for German Day (Leuchspur) and Night (Glimspur) tracers and also self destruct (Zerleger) ammunition?
5. Will bullet ricochets occur on more objects than just armor? Bullets can ricochet off anything, even water if the angle is low enough.
6. Have you started work on the SoW:BoB tracers/bullets yet? If so, do they look much better than Il2?

I am a guns and bullets guy. I am very interested in hearing about this. What can I say?

Why don't any of the AI ever go into a spin. It happens a lot to me and alot of people online too. And the AI are just *perfect* they never make mistakes. They act like they've flown that same plane they're flying for 15 years, not 4 years or something like that. Same with taking off and landing.

Yet another question for Oleg.
Currently Il2 supports up to four (4) controllers. I have a CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle Franken Potato (which is a Pro Throttle with Throttle Quadrant switches and rotaries mounted on it which counts for two (2) controllers) and CH Pro Pedals, for a total of 4 controllers.
Will Sow:BoB allow for more than a 4 controller setup? I would also like to use the CH Multi Function Panel which I cannot use at this time with Il2 as I am already at my 4 controller maximum.

Will there be random breakdowns (as an option) ?
Will a bomb dropped near a ship damage him ?

Will it be possible to have the extern views in full real after having returned to base or being killed ?
Will we be forced to choose our side before going to plane menu during online play ?
Will we be able to play the operationnal control ?

Will it be possible to save the map of a mission, on order to use it in the next one (even in user-made static campaigns ?), for exemple save all the destroyed bridges of the map ?
Wil we be able to use triggers in the editor ?
Will it be possible to have water at different altitudes (lakes)

Do you think it will be possible in the future to have grumman planes, for example ?

Will flags move in the wind, and air-shafts near the runways ?
Will there be train tunnels ?
Will governs of other players move online ?

Could we have a basic traing as a Bomber or fighter pilot. To learn the basics and some advanced tips, tricks, musts, things to look out for, how to's, you know to get us of on the right track. When I started IL-2 I was terribly lost and if not for the pacific-fighters support I would've been terribly lost. So please make a basic traing set of missions, maybe tell us the weak spots of our common opponents.

Default Straffing - blowing up ships

I hope that BOB:SOW will enable some ships to blow up or sink by straffing. Particularly munitions ships or tankers. If not large ships, then perhaps motor torpedo boats, coastal guardships etc.
