There are demos available for those who want to check it out before buying:

Channel Battles: http://www.desastersoft.com/download..._CB_bob_de.zip

Wick vs. Dundas: http://www.desastersoft.com/download..._Dundas_de.zip

I think both are in German but at least you can experience the missions.

About the AI...since the new alpha patch I didn't see any of the crazy barrel rolls anymore. I have CTDs with the demo like some other people but they also appear in the stock CloD missions...so I'm pretty certain it is the patch causing it.

Alexander

Edit: You might have to switch the language of CloD to German for the Demos to work...but I'm not sure of that.

Hi have recently installed the Alpha patch and installed Wick vs Dundas campaigns.

When I start a campaign (Spit or Hurricane) with 100% realism the engine is running and immediately stops when the campaign begins. The result of this is the oil temperature is 100 degrees and I blow my engine when I throttle up for takeoff.

I have noticed that in the stock missions or campaign they load with the engine off and all the temperature gauges are how they should be 0 degrees.

Any Idea what I am doing wrong or has anyone else experienced this?

Help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Wick vs Dundas Demo is in English too. Channel Battles will take a while, because of Translation. Thanx for the warm words ---

I found a way around this was to skip ahead and start the engine and open radiator. When it prompts you for the engine start just repeat the steps again. Its a good question but probably better to post in their new english support forum! http://forum.desastersoft.com/viewfo...5b3b4ccff07989

I couldn't get anywhere with the Alpha patch until today - I kept getting system lockups. COD now works really well - first time in a year. Time to see what this sim can do! I've just bought this add-on - COD needs a proper career system like ROF's. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the heads-up!

This added to the fact that the AI spends all the ammo in deflection shots without correcting if they missing makes any offline campaign a no go for me..
All these AI skills are adjustable with this tool http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=31573

This particular campaign should have it already adjusted IIRC.

These guys e-mailed me a long time ago asking how I did the menus for my campaign. Looks like they did a really good job with it.
