95 means it`s almost perfect, even games like Planescape and Heroes 3 didn`t get this score from many, and King's Bounty the Legend being a great game still has it`s flaws. It`s very-very addictive, but it`s well, a bit shallow, there`s a nice music(better than the one from homm 5 imo, but worse than in homm 2-4), story which is rather weak and many diologues _all_ of which are supposed to be funny(someone will probably like it i guess), many really are, but still doesn`t help to build some real atmosphere, you can`t give 9.5 for a game with a great gameplay, graphics and map design, but everything else which can be described as nice, pretty good, i liked it etc. Personally I`d give it 84-87, 95 is obviously too much.

Well, Hargrar, we all do have something subjective appraising any specific game, aren't we? : )

Which is why one should take every review and opinion you see with a thought to it. A game can get a good review and not be good, or get a bad review and not be bad (I think of Tribes of the east here) But the best way tends to be a demo, that way you can get a taste of it yourself and make a competent judgement.

As it is i can't say anything about the music or the dialogues.. but i do like the visuals A bit refreshing from all the Dark and gritty stuff that seems to be popular as of late.

Decide, to whom to trust players or authors of reviews!

Greatest trouble in «KB» (besides not numerous «bags», straightened by patches) is happiness only on 30-40 hours. In age-old King's Bounty 2 Ïrokof'eva and that HOMM 5 there was the generator of cards, and territory is unchanging here, because hand-made. Yes, at the beginning of party it concernes by casual appearance, that you will meet on the way, but the repeated heat en-route acquainted will not be such enthralling.

Actually it is more than 30-40 hours if you take all side quests, etc. Moreover can you name a modern game that boasts at least 30-40 hours of gameplay. I can hardly imagine one, not taking into consideration (add-ons, expansions, mods, map generators, etc.). Talking only about single player.

AG rated the game 93%, players rated 89%.
If you check the statistics, u can see that 19 players voted 1% for the game. I think this 19 people are liars! If you don't count their votes, total it gives 91%, it's quite close to AG's original score, and it's above 90%. I trust in this. BTW 30-40 hours is quite a good gameplay value, plus the map is not randomly created but made by a desinger (team).

Everybody draws conclusions, I simply made examples. Certainly a minimum and maximum would need to be deleted. Unreal 10, absurdly 1.
My rating about 8-8.5. 9.5 - only design...
30-40 hours it is needed on the complete passing of game. Someone will play anew, someone it is not...
AG is very good site and review objective enough!
