LMAO mine too 99% of the time, hate the way it just cuts to outside the plane, imagine if your in 3rd person view you see him climb out and if your in the cockpit view you see the animation through the pilots eyes...epic

Maybe we will get to use anti-aircraft guns and be able to switch between different guns and back to aircraft during the battle. I do seem to recall Oleg mentioning something about this in the early days. Would be a really cool feature and would add tremendously to the realism of the battle.

How about a system that calculates how many whines you've posted and if it gets above a certain ammount a large target symbol and your velocity vectors are super imposed over your aircraft in your opponents sights!

That would really give them something to complaign about!

I remember that very well. Oleg said he really disliked the idea and luthier was always on at him to include it. Oleg eventually gave in and posted pictures of the 'feature' a couple of years ago. I have no doubt that we can all look forward to abandoning our aircraft one day, to run to a dumbed down Bofors and displace its invisible crew, singlehandedly blasting away with arcade simplicity.

i think it's a neat idea tbh, if implemented well. many times i have seen someone spawn a b25 on a map where their base is getting vulched, purely so they can actually fire back. having a 40mm gun to do that with, if done properly and with some kind of offline firing range to get your eye in... thus no historically inaccurate "no vulching" rules because if you're getting vulched you can still fight back.

Really like the bailing out idea... Will be interesting bailing out of a flaming cockpit.. maybe you will have to keep bashing the bail out button if the cockpit hood is stuck

a stupid question: how do you look around when you are on your parachute? My visual seems locked.
