Slovakia rocks, be sure.

Now have to check out the other new maps.

Default Love it.. minor graphic glitch..

Its awesome - thanks!

Running on a iMac Core Duo 2.0gig, 2gig mem, x1600vid @ 1680x1050 widescreen/perfect mode, High quality water etc. with the new view distance.

Love the new map and all the details! Did a quick test mission. Not sure if the stuff was there before and I never saw it, but now I see little industry (not the big factories), two different kinds of hay stacks, outhouses, graveyards, wood piles, and my favorite: Clotheslines! Good stuff. Water looks good too.

Only graphic anomaly was when watching an explosion from the external view, the shadow of the explosion had some pixelation in it. No biggie, just hadn't seen that before.

I must say WOW ! Beautiful new maps !!
I still have to check the other features out, like LandGeom=3, but as of now, it's stunning.

Only "glitch" I noticed yesterday is sometimes I wasn't credited for the kill, after shooting down someone.
Not kidding, I mean, I am pretty sure I was the final "killer", but someone else's name showed up at the moment of the bogey explosion.

Maybe it's just me who sucks in deflection shooting but it occurred a bit too often...

Happy New Year everybody, and thanks again for this beautiful Xmas present !!

Edit: When this happened, I was flying with known teammates in a password protected room.

Couple of comments re. the MTO map.

1./ Our planes are spawning with their backs to the runway as on the other desert and Italy maps. Please may we spawn facing the strip.

2./ Crete - the two airbases are at the East end of the island. Maleme airfield where a lot of the fighting took place is on the Western end of Crete. Is there some reason why Maleme is not a useable base on the map?

Ground handling of the Spit, in particular, seems to be better than on the previous desert map so thanks for that.

Because that is a fictional map and all similarities to real life are simply coincidence?
Seriously - the map is as it is. It's a "Take it or leave it" thing.

Default viewing distance

This new LandGeom=3 option is good.

Any chance of getting similar setting which would allow people to see those fire and smoke objects from greater distance? For example the smoke that is seen after plane crashes. I assume it's one of those stationary objects that can be added to missions in FMB.

The setting could have one value for current viewing distance and another that would be double it. Nobody would be forced to use the double value.

Full Mission Builder is the only way. You can still knock together test flights pretty quickly
