Nah; those "He-111s" are actually CASA 2.111s fitted with Merlin engines, and as such they rather kill the Battle of Britain vibe...

Telling people what video settings you use is pretty worthless without also listing the system specs.

Tell me about it. I was shooting up some Blenheims in my 109 yesterday and one ended up with a similar hole in the wing, but the bent strips of metal were facing the airflow head on. Imagine my surprise when seeing a flickering motion, pausing, zooming in and seeing it was strips of bent wing skin fluttering in the airflow

I wasn't trying to measure e-penii. Lots of people have better systems than I do, and I'm happy for them. I was pointing out that posting a screenshot of the graphic settings and saying it results in good fps doesn't actually help anybody trying to figure out how to get a good looking game with good framerates.

Baron Wastelan's screenshot shows beautiful damage detail on the plane- to the point where you can see interior rivets inside the wing structure. But it highlights the poor texture quality of the grass landing strips currently (the contrast between the runway and the adjacent grass is likewise very dramatic).

Hope the quality of the landing strips can improve in a later patch.
