Picking skins via the plane options do not work for now as it's bugged.

it will be nice to see what a custom skin looks like with markings already included ( ie - markings off in game) and what the weathering looks like on that...

Hm, Mission4today or some of the old sites? A new one?
The "blocky" appearance of the 109 skin is not due to bad mapping, rather to a structure layer meant to represent metal plates. It is an not entirely fortunate structural effect if you ask me. If you look in the skin folder and find the Hurricane blank, you can see how the blocky layer is absent from the canvas covered parts. |
