This is our problem we don't want this filter taking away fps which is vital in a sim of this scale and what obviously is going to be a great sim once it has been removed, remove it and we will in our droves purchase it.

No one is bashing anyone here, but it is difficult not to put the blame at the feet of UBI who have forced this filter to be implemented.

Please do not patronise us by saying 'try to understand' we understand too well the implications of this ridicoulous farce.

Believe me the critizism on here does'nt have to be constructive ,hell why should it be,they have promised nirvana, and we in the West will get a shambolic version.

After seeing all the blogs, screenshots and videos,we will not see the game in it's full beauty and you're saying keep calm and stop making a riot out of this, sorry but this is a really stupid thing to say,get real, the guys on here are bloody livid, why would'nt they be .

Either you're working for 1C or UBISOFT or you are extremly naive, wake up and smell the coffee!

No, you don't know what you are talking about and that is getting seriously annoying.

You are crusading against something that is universal in the gaming industry. As I explained to someone else over here it is something that is common, EVERY GAME goes through this, it must compliant to health standards and must have a disclaimer in the manual.

ALL GAME PUBLISHERS ASK FOR THOSE THINGS. ALL GAMES GO THROUGH THIS.

All the games I worked on had to be compliant with health safety and had to follow ergonomic guidelines else the publisher won't sell it. Cliffs of Dover is no different. If they decided to fix the issues with a filter that dropped the framerate (if that is actually a fact, which I doubt) it's not the publisher's fault, it's the developper's, AT LEAST BLAME THE RIGHT PEOPLE. Even so it would be idiotic to complain before even installing the program.

This is moronic and totally immature. Grow up kids. The world doesn't revolve to satisfy your every demands.

No, no and not naive, but I have a positive and optimistic attitude towards this, and I believe that in doing so, I'll acheive more than if I join the ongoing riot out there.

I'm just saying that in general, a lot of guys on this forum doesn't know what "BAD" is. I mean, if your MS FFB2 dies, that's like the worst case scenario.

I've been in the mud, starved, freezing, marching until I fall asleep walking (I'd bet my life on that not being possible, but I was proven wrong). I have also experienced bad things in life that matters. Relationships, family etc..

IL-2: CoD IS NOT BAD NEWS.

I'm just trying to emphasize the fact that it could always have been worse. Try looking at the bright side for once.

What is 50$ for an incomplete game, with un-imaginable amounts of effort from the team anyways?

It's like cheaper than filling your tank of gas at the gas-station. That only lasts for a short while depending on how much you drive.

Like previously stated, this game will work the other way around. At release, it's almost nothing, but it grows and grows - not diminishes.

I just really wish the hysteria would settle down. When I heard about the epileptic filter I was like, gee that's a nice consideration, but I want it switchable to boost my performance. So I wait patiently until release, play it with filter, until it can be turned off. It must be switchable If not, well, maybe it just makes the game like crysis sorta. I just bought a new rig, the game is from 2007, I still can't run it at high FPS with all settings MAX :p that's life! Things could be worse..

Not every demand. He that has the most consumers happy with a product or service wins though.

Cool

I wouldn't count on a patch until all versions of BOB COD to various countries have been released. I would then think it may take another month or more for the first patch release.

If you have the BOB COD now, enjoy what you have. You are very lucky, it won't be released in the US until late April.

Everyone, all over the world has waited for the BOB COD for over six years. If you have it already, you are fortunate.

In other words....most people on this forums don't want to read your whines and rants.

Not at all. I opened the door and yelled "Your store is not up to the high standards that I demand! I'm not buying anything here, even though you're the only store selling the food I like, until the food here is better, or I get really hungry!"

Then I left. I'm counting on the dude in the parking lot with the "I told you so!" sign to let me know when it's ok to get my food there.
