Om du har råd så är det även värt att införskaffa ett bättre grafikkort, även om det du har nu kommer att fungera OK.

Lustigt att det är så många svensktalande på forumet. Bättre RAM är win. Jag har 6GB DD3 med rätt så hög PC. Jag hoppas att det räcker. i7@2.66 och HD5870 känns som att jag borde komma en liten bit på det iaf.

in english: get more RAM.

As i said, some more DDR2 should be fine. I ran DDR2 1066 just until about a year ago, I know that it's fine. What matters the most is how much of it you have. The difference between 2gb and 4gb is quite noticeable when your system is under strain. And another thing to think about are the CAS timings. Lower the better. Some slower, super low latency RAM will benefit your system better than fast RAM with high timings, especially when combined with a good CPU. But honestly I love my fast DDR3 1600, and comparatively I noticed a nice boost in framerate. But then again I'm running 7-7-7-21 timings at 1.6v... so the best of both worlds.

The difference between DDR2 and DDR3 is negligible, more is better.
