"mörkö-morane" that's morane-saulnier M.S 406 and 410 with Finnish made changes.

Or brewster f2a "buffalo".

Maybe I would choose that "bogey-morane".

Yeah, gotta go with Corsair or Hellcat. Though I love Grumman Ironworks products, I'd lean a little more towards Corsair in this case. Once upon a time, back in the DOS days I had quite the career as a Navy Corsair pilot in Aces of the Pacific, so I guess I'm a little partial to that particular crate.

If neither of those is "European Theater" enough, then P-40 is my next choice.

All very hypothetical, of course.

B.I Special was the one, like was said, that carried the bouncing bomb, and also the worlds largest dumb, conventional (as in non nuclear) bomb. i think 22000lbs or something.

It was used very late in the war, and alot of the Lancs that carried it sported day camo undersides - gotta love total air supremacy (Goering would be very jelous!)

The B.I and B.III are quite similar, except the B.III had H2S radar dome underneath (as an obvious visible difference).
