Does the B-52 have guns?

And what's more, the Vulcan is a lot more maneuverable than those planes.

They're incredibly unstable though apparently - my dad used to fly one.

well what is it? a big triangle with jets on the back, a space in the middle for bombs and a verticle to keep it from spinning lol

Awesome, they're fantastic planes. I hope to go to an airshow where it'll be flying at some point next year.

Yeah he was on standby for the Falklands, but never flew out there.

However, my brother's god-father flew chinooks at the time and was co-pilot taking a special forces team through the mountains at low altitude. But because there's no visual reference for scale, they all just watched this mountain in front of them getting closer. Then they flew straight into it as they had no idea how close it was.

The pilot was killed and my dad's friend was seriously injured, including losing a leg. The only reason they survived is because the guys in the back were obviously trained in surviving in extreme conditions.

It was harsh at the time, but he can laugh about it now. We were in Cyprus recently for my bro's wedding, and we joked he could put tomato ketchup on his stump and come hopping out of the sea yelling "shark!". But then we thought that permanently traumatising little children for lols probably wasn't a great idea

I believe somewhere between the B-52D-H models, which were equipped with guns. In the tail.
