You can't paint the Perspex canopy ... that's what gave off far planes, often. And that's what Oleg was explaining few years ago ...

I think the aircraft as a whole look rubish atm.. they changed something 2 patches ago..not sure what it was but the AC dont look anywhere as nice as they did

Not only the aircraft. We completely lost the beautiful water reflections. I loved the reflections of the clouds. They are all gone. So are the beautiful orange sunsets and sun rises.

I hope the next graphics engine brings all that beauty back. When it comes to looks, everything but the landscape pretty much blows right now.

Reflection for sure is what we need.

Painted wing or unpainted does not makes so much difference at some range. The sun light is so intense and the surface of the wing so big that the paint can't absorb all the luminance even with a very mat paint.
