You could but I don't think it will trigger the next objective. I think the AI engineers have to.

Can this be done to missions that originally do not have reinforcements available (i.e. 2nd Soviet SP mission where you hold off the Germans while a train is being loaded)?

Nope, but you can still change things in the saved game. Check out this pic. Most of the tanks I put in myself, well I changed something into the tanks. I even gave myself two Vicker 93mm guns.

Changing things in a saved game is time consuming. Sometimes I spend more time in the saved game file then in the game. I have just as much fun messing with the saved game file as playing. Being able to play the missions over and over again doesn't hurt either.

Sorry, I really thought that you'd have to go into the main game file to add reinforcements into a mission that didn't have them.



I haven't figured out how to get stuff like tanks yet, but I think I'm close.
