e8400 with gts 8800 (g92). win xp 32 (won't upgrade until i abs. must - see no need for vista). There is a small chance i'll upgrade the graphic card but 1080P is probably the limit for me and the gts can almost handle that. I currently use a 20 inch monitor because older games prefer 4:3 but eventually I'll go with a 22 or 24 inch 1080p monitor - 24 inch is a bit large for me (for games) so probably 22 inch but not for a couple of more years. Too many games are unhappy with widescreen (even recent games like space rangers 2).

Q6600 @3.2 Ghz, 4GB RAM DDR2 1066, 8800GTX, WD Raptor... playing at 1900x1200, all maxed out antialasing and filtering 4x/16x. That was a high end system 2 years ago, it's pretty much pretty good today, game runs flawlessly.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
ASUS P5QC 4GB DDR2-800 GEIL Dual Channel ATI Radeon HD4870 512MB GDDR5 Windows 7 x64 Beta build 7000 The game runs perfect even considering Windows 7 is beta, I hadn't any crash or problem and I finished the game. Using 1440x900 resolution. This game doesn't require much power though... |
