I'm aware of that, it was just a surprise to see them on the aircraft on the website as I don't think I've ever seen a photo of real K-4 with underwing cannon fitted.

There's quite a few out there, just google it. The cannons weren't very effective against bombers as was their original intention, so they started fitting them to Ju-87s and were used to great effect as tank killers on the Eastern Front. It would be interesting to see that part of the game. Now if we can just sort out the actual release date, all this discussion might come to something.

Yes there's plenty of photos of 109's with underwing cannon attached, but they are mostly 109-G's. I cannot find any photo's 109 K-4's with underwing cannon.

Really? I thought it was common for K4s to be armed with the underwing 20mm gunpods.

Can't find a good source at the moment but there is a quote from wiki.

The 30mm cannon were extremely potent weapons, but they had a tendency to jam, and apparently all of the K-4s supplied to III./JG 26 were also equipped with 20mm-guns in the hated underwing tubs. Uffz. Georg Genth's regular aircraft was a G-10, but on occasion he flew a K-4. He preferred the G-10 as a dogfighter, as the K-4's bulky armament sharply reduced its manouevrability.

I take anything I read on Wikipedia with a pinch of salt. I've had a look through some of my books and still found no photographic evidence of underwing cannon equipped K-4's. Though I have found that the type officially existed as K4/R4 it does seem like it was a rare occurance.

The B listed on the main site is a mix up, both the picture on the site and the trailers show a P51A but it is called a P51B by the plane list. Either this is an error and they have a P51B as well as the P51A and just put up the wrong picture, or whoever put the planes on the site just didn't know the planes properly.

So do I but the problem is I have about 6 books on the Bf109 siting a home and nothing here at University. At least the quote from wiki is a secondary quote taken from a book, which makes it a bit more reliable, but I will try to find an online version of that book and see if it has more information.
