Anyways, (still some-what off topic) I was wondering if anyone has tried the following in an Axis-Vs-Allies match: Flying for the Allies with your gear down to attempt to pass off as a Stuka? Obviously it would only work in Sim mode, and could go both ways. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and how well it worked.

Id love to get a team of marines (ie real people from america) to take on a team of Muslims in a MP game. Be good to know that im shooting down real ragheads, pakis etc (online that is) and perhaps we can have a mini battle of falujah.Has anyone done this on PS3 and if so can i please play?

Thats a great idea but is the loss of manouverablity / speed worth the chance that someone will think your a Stuka

The issue with fascism is that wether or not the individual agrees with the system, they have no choice and must obey. That's the real tragedy of WW2. By shooting down german pilots you're not killing fascists necessarily, you're killing the instruments of fascism.

No im not a nazi sympathiser, just posting a reminder that war is not that black and white. And yes I realise it's just a game.

Look you lot must be in the wrong thread i asked if some former axis countries preferably germans would like to get into their 109s and fly in realistic mode . For fun and thats it till the PC fun police showed up ....how about we get a team of Brits and half talk wit ze german accentz...go peddle your crap in another thread if your not to busy pushing whales back out to sea.

Here take your pick maybe The Royal Air Force roll of honour for the Battle of Britain recognises 595 non-British pilots (out of 2,936) as flying at least one authorised operational sortie with an eligible unit of the RAF or Fleet Air Arm between 10 July and 31 October, 1940.These included 145 Poles, 127 New Zealanders, 112 Canadians, 88 Czechoslovakians, 28 Belgians, 32 Australians, 25 South Africans, 13 French, 7 American, 10 Irish, and one each from Jamaica, the British Mandate of Palestine, and Southern Rhodesia. (Diverse enough for you)
Axis
An element of the Italian Royal Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) called the Italian Air Corps (Corpo Aereo Italiano or CAI) first saw action in late October 1940. It took part in the latter stages of the battle, but achieved limited success. The unit was redeployed in early 1941.

Anyway im over the idea now

I actually think if a group of people from Germany and a group of people from England are willing to get into virtual planes and have fun together it's a sign of how far we've all come in a world made possible by the sacrifices of those that fought in the real war.

It's obvious to all but the most knee-jerking PC freaks that wanting to play against real Germans or real English is nothing even closely resembling racism.

lt would depend on the situation, if you were seperated from your flight and you spotted a couple enemy fighters, you could be ignored. lt would only work in allies vs axis, and there is always the chance of it backfiring.

I assume that dropping your wheels was a real tactic used by the allies? One thing the annoys me a bit is the mishmash of aircraft and so your team mates maybe in a stuka and your flying a spitfire .... Does realistic mode only allow relevant aircraft for each side ie no mishmash?
