This link has a GREAT picture. You can see that the guy wrapped his stick in tennis tape, and then ziptied 2 sections of the spring on opposite sides. I did this as well and it helped a TON. I haven't wrapped the stick yet, though. The ziptie took out about 60% of the resistance. Basically, the stick is factory made to be a little too strong. I did some more research and saw guys taking down the sensitivity about 11 clicks. Seems like a lot of people, as they move up in difficulty, start to really ratchet down on the settings |

I've been flying in sim and realistic and don't like to knock down the sensitivity more then a 4 or 5 notches. You really do lose a lot of control range if you go down very far. Even at 4 or 5 steps down I can end up with the stick all the way back and still not stall.

Question: Lets assume for this question that I am in a one on one dogfight with someone who has the exact same plane and flight stick (AV8R-02). If they have their settings on full and I have my settings dialed down lets say 4-6 notches does the player with full settings have a tactical advantage over me?

i usually put the sensitivity on both down a good 5-6 depending on the aircraft.
