No more wading necessary.
Spot on, but I think you will find some people in here cannot stop having a pop at someone's else s opinion. They pretend they hate to see all the moaning and that that goes on, but when the have a alternative they don't seem to take it.

Lol.

there's one reason why a dedicated thread would NOT be a solution:
- B6 still needs the ability to respond to people's questions and need for clarification WITHIN the discussion threads. Sometimes, important information comes to light in response to a specific question, and B6 responds WITHIN the thread. Without the context of the threads, these replies can sometimes be meaningless (i.e. yes and no answers to questions).

So the best solution is the existing one, just search by author. that way you get all their replies AND the context. It's a win-win.

Has nothing to do with pretending. I hate the kind xxxx some on both sides post. My boots don't come up high enough to wade through it.

It's not like what is being asked is all that difficult to do. One topic, one sticky. That's a toughy. You'd think the moderators would jump at the chance to make their jobs easier by culling out some of the constant back and forth. I know there will always be the likes of some who can't help but bicker back and forth. It's in their nature. But if it cuts down just a bit it would be worth it.

I don't post rebuttals all that often and prefer the stickies. Nothing personal against those who like to do the bickering. I just want no part of it. At one point it was entertaining. Now it's like being stuck in a kindergarten class.

BlackSix is a moderator.

If he sees fit to lock his own threads then that's his decision.

Also...........

The update threads are not locked and left open for discussion/thanks/comments/trolls, at 1C Teams request.
