Hmmm...

Going by most hours played, I reckon:

Darkest Hour
IL2
Combat Mission BB
Various Total Wars

For nostalgia:

Doom2
SimCity 2000

I know Deus Ex is "supposed" to be the best, but , like raaaid, I only stuck it for a couple of hours

FT, weve fought together for Germany (you used to reload my panzershrek and supplied me with ammo for the MG allot in public (totally not in a gay way way you homo's), a real team player) in RO: DH and against each other In IL2fb. I would certainly agree with you RO: DH and IL2 (as well as Silent Hunter III (with grey wolves mod III)) were truely excellant!

According to wiki this is the top 5 selling games on PC of all time.

The Sims (16 million shipped)
Lemmings (15 million)
The Sims 2 (13 million)
or 18.6 million if you include "The Sims 2: Pets [expansion pack]" (5.6 million)
StarCraft (11 million)
Half-Life (9.3 million, may include PS2 version)

TIE Fighter (and "Defender of the Empire") - I still wish LucasArts would wake up and do a modern re-make of their classic snubfighter games. *insert goofy smilie thinking of the good old times here*

Probably the one that brought me the most fun AND entertainment:

Great funky music, cool storyline and epic "dogfights" in muscle cars, gotta love it!

I'd love if someone made a remake of it with today's technology
