Salute
While CLIFFS OF DOVER may have a extremely good graphical representation of the aircraft, to a detail not seen in many other games, the one thing it lacks is reflective light from surfaces, in particular the smooth metal surfaces of an aircraft, or its cockpit glass. If you consult the many accounts written by actual combat pilots, one of the most common instances for the key initial sighting of an enemy aircraft, was seeing a glint off a cockpit or a wing. I remember seeing reflection in a pre-release video of a Stuka, but for whatever reason, this did not make it into the final package. Right now, the visibility of aircraft in this game is actually worse than in IL-2, it should be better. I believe much of this problem could be fixed with the incorporation of reflection into the graphical representation. For it not to be present in the game, is highly unrealistic.
