Oh, wow, that's not too far from Pittsburgh, and there's a cheap bus company making it about $20 round trip to Columbus!

I was so sad that I wasn't going to have the money to visit the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL. I can do this one now, although I'd still prefer the Naval one

THANK YOU

WOW..
I wasn't aware of that museum. Until now, Duxford was on Top of my ranking but this place may beat it.
Thx for sharing that link, I will definetly make a visit during my next US Trip..

I went there today, and they had a WWI fly-in there too ("dawn patrol")... Fun stuff. A couple days ago to the Deutsches Museum, and the aircraft museum at Schlessheim!...

I've really been getting around to the museums! - Finally got some good detail landing gear pics for my R/C modeling.

I live 2 hours away from the NMUSAF by car.

I have been a member for years.

Anyone with even a fleeting interest in military aviation should see it at least once in their life.

Also on certain Fridays you can sign up to tour their restoration shop. Well worth it. Of course right now their big focus is on the restoration of the Memphis Belle. It's amazing to see her in pieces all over the shop.

Oh, and yes, to see all of it and the annex hangars will take two days if you look at everything.

A photo I made some years ago there...
