Track IR doesn't make you a good flyer, practice does and a lot of reading about air combat theory.
It is an advantage though since it takes a lot of work load off of you just trying to lookaround, it does give you an edge in situational awareness, but that still doesn't make you a good flyer. |

Make some experience with Tiger Moth, I can fly online with the keyboard on full realism servers and still able to damage some aircraft even it's bloody hard
