Just had a go, trees completely off and picked a spit 1a

engine on and taxied out but as soon as i took off the wheels rolling sound stayed on and never left.

attacked a Ju-88 and took hits but didn't hear any sound

and also never heard any other planes while flying or on the airfield.

though big plus...server very nice and smooth for me , though looked horrible with no trees.

furbs, just DO IT and have a look for yourself. I swear, the trees are gonna come back if you swich them on again The other soundbugs (rolling sound inflight, no sound of other planes in cockpit, no sound for incoming fire) are not affected though, maybe if we turn off streets, houses, villages, grass, mankind and any other..

I found that if you hear the sound of wheels moving after take off if you just gently touch the ground again it stops the sound.

anyone knows what was SYN_Bliss referring to when he was talking about "Remember to have your radar turned on (the option "voice" set in your chatbar if you have voices/speech muted) as your radar will be calling out contacts left and right.", please?

hi adonys....Bliss is refering to the option to have "voice" added to your chatbar....this is an option you can activate with a rightclick on your chatbar....essentially what it does is add radar messages in chat form to your chatbar....this is useful because some think the actual voice additions are causing sound loss in mutiplayer....turning it off tho leaves you with no information....using a chat message as a replacement gives you locations of enemy formations from radar stations.

Ive had the AI voices off for months and still get the sound bug.

Though the 2 times i was in the SYN server today i didnt get the sound loss, though did get the wheels rolling bug and no hit sounds.
